Luis Novella
Luis is an experienced entrepreneur with a background in energy and professional services. He was a top executive at AREVA during its peak, managing a division that covered nuclear reactor constructions and services, T&D, mining, offshore wind, and solar. Leading the relationship with Unistar’s (part of Constellation Energy) CEO and leadership to develop a digital twin for nuclear plants. As an Accenture Partner, he was an energy expert in relationships with Endesa, Rosatom, ESKOM, Gas Natural, Fusion for Energy, and several other energy companies. He has particular expertise in growing and managing businesses globally, leading and directing operations. He has held partner leadership positions at KPMG, Accenture, and The Hackett Group. Luis has extensive experience in multiple industries and hands-on experience in the US, Europe, and Latam.
Adam Smith
Adam holds a BSc.(Hons) Economics, was previously a senior investment specialist at Schroders, focused on technology and energy markets, before moving into the renewable industry sector in 2007 where he worked with a number of leading international turnkey solar developers. He has extensive project experience in the design, development, construction, and project finance of solar projects. With established relationships with many of the leading tier-one manufacturers including Sharp, SunPower, and Canadian Solar, and an extensive network of bankable international EPC contractors.. He has also been actively working with a number of groups who have been deploying bankable PPAs to solar project developers and institutional funds within the U.S., Latam, and Europe over the last 6 years, with over $1b of investment-grade PPAs placed to date. He is also embedded in the solar ecosystem with established relationships with some of the leading lawyers, technical consultants, and M&As in the solar power sector.
Peter has over 25 years of expert knowledge in the sustainable sector, including Renewable Energy Infrastructure development and policy, Agile Programme Management, strategy, securing significant partner funding, climate change risk & resilience, agroforestry, land-use change, natural capital, international affairs and international development policy and programmes. Peter’s experience in the research industry has included programme management of assets up to €730m. He has since advised the (European Fund for Sustainable Development Plus (EFSD+), developing new sustainability fund models and approaches for the wider global area and European Near Neighbourhood for the European Commission linked to Green Finance and Natural Capital. He has appeared as a key expert on France24 Global News several times concerning current issues on climate change. Peter is was a member of the stakeholder group of the IFC’s Fast-Infra platform targeting infrastructure, land, Natural Capital, and development. Finally, he has coordinated with inter-governmental sustainable project development management organisations to develop effective programmes.
